Some Friendships Don’t Need Daily Presence
How is life treating you all?
25th February 2026. Just another normal Saturday. The same early morning coaching rush, the same chaos, the same tired energy.
But you know how sometimes these “normal” days quietly turn into the most unexpected and beautiful memories?
Yeah… this was one of them.
I was sitting in my lecture as usual bored, tired, just waiting for it to end when suddenly my phone lit up.
It was her.
My bestie.π₯°
She texted me saying she had come to meet me.
And just like that, the entire day felt different.
Okay, storytime.
There was a time when I had just joined coaching, and everything still felt new; new place, new faces, new routines. And somewhere in between all of that, I met her.
She was fun, effortless to talk to, and just… easy to be around. Our vibes matched almost instantly; the kind where conversations don’t feel forced and laughter comes naturally.
In a space that initially felt unfamiliar, she quickly became something familiar.
We became close in a way that didn’t need time or effort. It just… happened.
But then, things changed.
She shifted her batch.
And just like that, the everyday presence we had gotten used to was gone. No more random conversations between classes, no more sitting together, no more those small, ordinary moments that quietly meant so much.
We both missed it. A lot.
But maybe that’s how some connections are meant to be not constant, but still meaningful.
Because even now, nothing really feels different. Whenever we meet, it’s like no time has passed at all. The comfort is still there. The ease is still there.
And so is the friendship.π
As soon as my classes got over, I rushed down to meet her. Of course, madam was a little late, but the moment she arrived and we hugged…
I don’t know.
It just felt like… I could stay there a little longer.
It was one of those hugs that quietly fixes something inside you.
We talked about everything! Life lately, random updates, and of course, she told me about how some guy tried flirting with her in her new class. She wasn’t interested, but she still found it funny.
She’s unusual like that. A soul entirely her own kind.πππ(this emoji ;)
She got me ice cream yes, the sandwich one. We shared it, kept talking, and didn’t even realise how beautiful that moment was while we were living it.
(And if you’re reading this, you owe me another ice cream now. I just wrote a whole blog about you.ππ)
Even the last time we met, it was during a Sunday exam. I wasn’t in the best mood that week. But the moment I saw her, everything felt… lighter. Softer. Better.
Some people really do make life easier just by existing.
And maybe the one I’m writing this for is one of them.
Thank you—for being there, for being you, for existing.
(Oye, ice-cream ke bare mein bhuliyo mat.π)
